One of the four pillar visual pieces that tell a story of the Circle of Life. "Protection" depicts the owls and ravens that I saw in my mind when I visited this sacred site on the Jumping Pound Creek in Cochrane. I took a photo of the cliff side and mirrored the image, then had it printed on paper so that I could paint the image using oil paint.
