The buffalo has long been a symbol of strength, resilience, and courage. Unlike many animals that flee from a storm, the buffalo is said to face it head-on, moving through the challenge rather than away from it. That quiet determination is something I deeply admire and strive to embody in my own life.
This painting is also deeply personal. It was created with someone very special in mind—a person whose strength, integrity, and steadfast nature remind me of a buffalo every day. Through this piece, I wanted to honour those qualities and celebrate the kind of quiet courage that inspires me.
To me, this buffalo is a reminder that life asks us to meet our storms with strength, trust, and an open heart.
